Year 13 celebrated their Prom at the Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel on Wednesday 29th June. Students and staff had a fabulous evening and the awards ceremony was a particular highlight! We are flying the rainbow flag throughout June to show solidary with LGBTQ+ communities and celebrate Pride Month together as a school family. Our Diversity Group led by Miss Hollin, organised a rainbow bake sale and face painting event that raised an incredible £145 for LGBTQ+ charities: The Proud Trust and the Albert Kennedy Trust.

From Monday 16th – Thursday 26th May, we are hosting a Scholastic Book Fair in the Library, linked to the Platinum Jubilee. Students are able to browse a fantastic selection of titles before and after school, as well as at break and lunchtime. If children wish to order books, they can take an order form

Today we said farewell to our Year 13 students on their final day of Sixth Form. Following their Valedictory celebration in the hall, they walked out of the gates to cheers and applause.  Wishing them all the very best of luck in their exams – they will always be part of the #CHS family!  See
