MFL Boulogne, France Trip 2015MFL Department
The KS3 French trip takes place in June in the north of France, staying in the château du Broutel, south of Boulogne. Pupils visit a goat farm where they learn about the goats and how cheese is made, all presented in French, followed by cheese sampling. They also visit a local chocolate factory where they learn about the processes involved in making chocolate before visiting the chocolate shop to buy lots of goodies. Pupils get to practice their French in many ways during the stay through games held at the chateau and the visit to a local market where they have to complete a task using their French. Pupils also spend the day at Euro Disney.
