Friday, March 15th, was filled with laughter, generosity, and a splash of red as we came together to support Comic Relief, all thanks to our students, Student Management team, and staff.
The day kicked off with a burst of colour as students from our Sixth Form adorned themselves with red clothing and accessories, all in exchange for a small donation of £1. But the spirit of giving didn’t stop there, as those from lower school helped donate amazing cakes at the bake sale, and each confection was made with love and care. Along with the bake sale, there was face painting, and the day’s highlight was throwing sponges at our staff! A crowd favourite, this activity provided endless entertainment as students lined up to aim at their beloved teachers.
Thanks to our school community’s incredible generosity and participation, we raised a total of £460! This impressive sum will go a long way in supporting the vital work of Comic Relief, helping to improve the lives of those in need at home and around the world.
On behalf of everyone on the Student Management Team, I would like to express our sincerest gratitude to all who contributed to the success of our Red Nose Day festivities. Whether you baked, donated, volunteered, or simply showed your support, your efforts have made a meaningful difference. We have shown that even the most minor actions can have a significant impact when we come together for a common cause.
