Presentation Evenings Autumn 2015

In late November Crompton House held two presentation evenings.  On Wednesday 18th November the GCSE certificates and prizes were presented by Latics Legend Frankie Bunn.  Many remember him for scoring a record six goals in one match against Scarborough in 1989. As well as presenting the awards to Year 11 and 12 pupils, Mr Bunn, spoke about the ups and downs of his footballing career and how the pupils could learn from this.

Two days later many of last year’s A Level students returned to Crompton House to receive their A Level certificates and prizes from Canon Maurice Smith, the Director of Education for the Manchester Diocese. The current Year 13 students received their prizes for their work in the Sixth Form and the Wind Band, under the  direction or Mr Meadon, provided the excellent music.

There are two more presentations this school year.  On Monday March 14th we are holding our Duke of Edinburgh Award Presentation Evening at 7.00 pm and on Thursday 14th July at 2.00 pm is the Year 7-9 Prize Day.
