Happy New Year
The PTFA is currently raising money for a new science laboratory, a laser cutter for the DT department and new chairs for the Year 10 Common Room
We have sold 144 seats out of a possible 180 (2 full tables of 10 are still up for grabs). We are really keen to sell the remaining 36 seats in order to raise as much money as we can so if you know anyone who might be interested, download a booking form or contact me email@example.com.
Find out more about the Ball, see previous years’ events and check out our photo gallery. It is a night not to miss especially as the Ball celebrates its 10th anniversary and will be held at the White Hart Inn on Saturday the 27th February 2016 at 19.00 prompt as we have a very special surprise for the guests whilst in the bar. The theme is ‘Putting on the Glitz”.
500 Club Draw
Congratulations to this month’s winners, your cheques are in the post:
1st Prize – Lottery number 154 – L Robinson also won in Oct 2010
2nd Prize – Lottery 392 – H Whitehead
3rd Prize – Lottery 398 – D McKenna.
We currently have 331 members out of a potential 1,300 and yet we were able to donate £2,800 to the PTFA last year, imagine how much more of a difference we could make to the children if more people joined, plus the prize money would go up. The new year 11 Common Room is completed and looks fabulous; pictures are already on Twitter and will shortly be displayed on the website. We also received a letter of thanks from Mr Dolan from the Multimedia department; the pupils are delighted with the new camera equipment we paid for last month. Also the new snowplough has been used for the first time last week and the site managers are very happy with it. You can see previous winners see how our contributions are spent on our 500 Club page. If you know anyone who wishes to join the 500 Club, please download a membership form.
