Crompton House's Duke of Edinburgh Bronze students walk around Ogden reservoir

Successful Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Practice Walk for Year 9 Students

Well done to our Year 9 students who completed their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze practice walk on Saturday!

Despite an early wet and windy 7:45 AM start, Crompton House students and their companions (the Duke of Edinburgh dogs) stayed positive as they walked around Ogden Reservoir.

The experience was a huge success, with every student reaching the finish line, helping to build confidence, form friendships, and improve their map reading.

They are now one step closer to their final expedition, which will take place next year.

We can’t wait to hear more when they start their next practice walk in Saddleworth.

Good luck!
