Animal handling in Science

For two days this November we had Andrew from Animal Intuition in school, giving our Year 7s the chance to see and handle some exotic creatures. He had a Vietnamese blue tree frog, a Golden knee tarantula, a Royal python, Guinea pigs, Sandfish and other animals. A great time was had by all as we learned about how these animals adapt to live in their particular habitats. The pupils had a chance to handle these animals and some were very brave, handling animals they never thought they would and overcoming phobias along the way.
