Fantastic news from Bury tonight that both our Year 8 and Year 10 girls football teams won their respective finals tonight to become our first girls football teams to become Greater Manchester champions
Our Year 10s won 3-2 after extra time against Bury Church (and after a couple of days on D of E). They really dug deep in a very close game. They have some outstanding footballers and have beaten some very good opposition to win this.
Our Yr 8s continued their excellent season by beating Blessed Thomas Halford 3-0 and will aim on Wednesday to complete a County and National double.
Well done to all girls involved and Mr Sellers Jnr. and Mr. Wright.
