At the Year 11 and Year 13 Leavers Assemblies six students with excellent attendance were presented with certificates and vouchers. A level Fine Art students have recently completed their final pieces for their examination unit. They had 15 hours to create their art work on the theme of expressions, relationships or everyday objects. The resulting paintings and drawings are stunning and will be displayed at our Summer Exhibition on July 7th.

Crompton House stormed to their first ever Greater Manchester County Cup triumph with a 4-2 win over Audenshaw School in the final. On May 1st we said farewell to Arnie Marsden, who has retired from School Crossing Patrol Duty after 5 years outside Crompton House, and 7 years in Shaw. Before this Arnie worked as a compositor at the Evening Chronicle for 38 years. Arnie did a wonderful job and was much loved by all the pupils
